Check your ipad system, the mouse only supports ipad OS 13 system or above；
Turn on the Touch Assistive: Settings→Accessibility→Touch→ AssistiveTouch→Turn it on;
Turn off the Mouse Keys: Settings→Accessibility→Touch→AssistiveTouch →Mouse Keys→Turn it off;
Adjust touchpad sensitive level: Settings→Accessibility→Touch→AssistiveTouch→Tracking Speed.
